GrandMail is an Australian personalised monthly letter subscription service, originally created to help children and grandchildren give their grandparents a thoughtful gift.
Subscriptions can be gifted to grandparents, parents, uncles, aunties, friends and other loved ones, with delivery across Australia and overseas.
Personal letters inspired by the recipient
Customers provide a loved one's interests and hobbies, and GrandMail creates, prints and posts physical letters filled with stories, puzzles and little surprises.
For families GrandMail is a thoughtful way to bring joy to someone they care about especially when distance makes regular visits difficult.
Bringing stories to aged care communities
Our Community Sponsorship initiative is our mission to bring personalised letters to aged care residents across Australia including those living far from their families. Sponsored letters will include little gifts, puzzles, stories and occasional celebration cards.
Through this initiative we aim to offer moments of enjoyment, spark memories and conversations and bring the pleasure of receiving mail to more of our elderly loved ones.
Why we started
GrandMail began with a simple belief: a letter can make someone’s day.
Our world is now full of communication that happens mostly on a screen. We wanted to create something people could hold, read and keep. Something written with their interests in mind. Something that makes an ordinary trip to the letterbox a little more special.
That purpose remains at the heart of GrandMail for grandparents, loved ones living afar and anyone who would smile at a letter created especially for them.
Letters go nationally and internationally
GrandMail posts letters across Australia and overseas. Delivery times vary by destination.
Your letter, your language
Through our separate My Language Letters service, upload your own letters written in languages other than English. We print and post them so grandparents and loved ones can receive personal mail in their own language and feel included. We do not write or translate your letters.
